World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and the ability to enchant.

They also provide bonus effects and improvements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every recycled item level upgrade adds one level to the upgrade gauge.

Weapons

When a weapon gets upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus and an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade items components come with cosmetic effects and others provide additional features. These upgrades can be put into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools, and most require that the equipment have an available upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. Once a weapon or armor piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, it can be replaced with another, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered through the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool for an item upgrader.

In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded with the Calibration Attribute which improves certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times depending on the weapon's level.

Once the weapon is at max upgrade, it can be reforged with a number of different upgrade types to boost certain stats or add bonuses and effects. A variety of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects differ based on the nature of the weapon.

Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the damage that a weapon inflicts.

In general, it's advisable to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then you can increase your armour defense and, finally, the secondary stats required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon prior to any other gear, since this will increase DPS. This is especially relevant for enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.

Armor

Item Upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of certain pieces of armor trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, through loot drops, or as rewards from quests.

Armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. In most cases the armor will be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. This is possible for all types of armor, however certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).

The majority of armor upgrades boost the item upgrade's defense or strength by just a little. Some upgrades, however, can result in significant increases in defense or strength. This is especially relevant when upgrading epic items.

Some upgrades provide special abilities which can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be very beneficial in combat. For instance they can boost the speed of attack or block. Some upgrades also provide useful passive effects, like cutting down on the amount of damage sustained while wearing armor or granting the chance to avoid attacks.

Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item could require multiple attempts. If a player wants to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor with the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has the base defense between 67 and 77 and it goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. Certain armors provide a significant boost in the reduction of the damage caused by poison spells, curses, magic or fire. This makes them very beneficial for certain builds. There are other ways to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading the armor, like using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

A potion can be upgraded by putting it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new level of effects from the potion and is able to be repeated to increase the potency.

The potion also gets a custom color code, which the player can select using /give and which alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom potion color also applies to the effects of the potion's particle effects.

The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions as well as difficult potions, now have a new the texture of brewing. The potion of weakness was added to the healing potion to the Creative inventory. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be made by using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also added is a potent potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket is a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It can be a ring or necklace. Or even a small banner to mark the yard of a boat. It could also refer to a gilded trinket that is fixed to the mast of a vessel.

This bizarre trinket appears to be influencing the denizens of this maze and making them more popular. This trinket at present, makes all types Xx of mimics more prevalent and gives each floor a Y% chance that it has an ebony copy. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.

The magic of this enchanted scepter appears to influence the dungeon and making it more likely to create water and grass. At the moment, this trinket will make X% of the floors become filled with water or grass, but it doesn't affect enchantments, symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items generated to aid in the elimination of hazards.

While it appears like an ordinary eye of a newt, this mysterious item appears to affect your vision in ways other than just reducing your field view. This trinket, at its current level, increases the health benefits of drinking healing potion and wells of life by X%, and also gives mind sight to enemies within the Y tile. This trinket is not stacked with the Higher Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters, and in chests and crates. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will have an effect on the trinket that is random, either increasing or strengthening its effects. You can reorge the Trinket as many times as you'd like however it will always be able to produce the same effect.

You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinkets by a small amount.
