WoW Upgrades - The item upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. A random extra substat is also increased with every upgrade.

Upgraded gear generally sees more value in trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for those with higher variance due to the need to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapons. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be visited at any time to upgrade your gear. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader once every few weeks, to keep your equipment up-to-date.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the item level, however, they are always cheaper than purchasing new gear. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that are used to level up weapons tools, armor, and accessories. Players can purchase them through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners in a variety of currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with the help of button, which will display a preview of the item at its next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the slot of the item upgrader kit and the current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with certain upgrades having a discount to lower the cost of Flightstones or crests that are used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain amount, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Crests

Crests are more special and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are an integral part of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

First, you should know that crests are only available for equipment that is that is of a particular rank. Each rank comes with an upgrade path that is different. The easiest and most straightforward upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade can require up to 20 crests, based on the type of equipment that is being upgraded.

Players can obtain crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, whether that involves walking around and performing outdoor activities for lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons of all difficulty for items of higher tier or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses and dungeons for endgame gear. Crests can be exchanged at an upgrader NPC like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade routes and steps.

The new currency system isn't complicated to use, but it does bring some modifications to the upgrade process. For instance, once an item level upgrade item (mouse click the following article) reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This is to allow players to get their gear up to the highest ilvl possible for all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests with care, since they have only one purpose. It is best to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear that you can find and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is especially applicable to rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character, that will be able to take advantage of the account-wide discount if all of the slots are full of high-quality gear.
