Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

The stats of an item can be improved through upgrading it, also known as "upping". Each upgrade increment increases a stat linearly.

Players can recycle six items at once to gain a gauge for the upgraded component of each item upgrader. The cost of recycling items increases according to their rarity and level.

Upgrade components

In Guild Wars 2, an upgrade of an item can be a method to increase the stats of your armor and weapons. This can be accomplished by many different methods, including using upgrade components as well as increasing an item's mark level or rarity. Glyphs

Glyphs also evoke a sense of familiarity in the brain, thereby increasing retention of the message.

Each glyph can increase the value of a stat by certain amount. This is clearly displayed on the item, when you open it in the Glyph Storage. This isn't the actual amount by the glyph can increase a stat, but the maximum amount by which it can increase a stat. The value of the glyph depends on the tier and the quality of the product you are enchanting.

The majority of upgrade components inserted into items can't be removed or replaced without dismantling them except for legendary equipment and upgrades. If you have a rune or glyph you do not want to use, but it hasn't been applied to gear yet, you can transfer the item to another piece by using the Upgrade Glyphs menu within the Glyphs Panel. Every reroll grants the player a random affix that is generally better than the one they had before. Reroll tokens are also a good method to reroll the stats of a weapon that can be upgraded to increase damage or other perks.

Rerolled items don't appear on the menu for upgrade options, however they can still be upgraded. By pressing the "upgrade button", you can recycle the items that have been rerolled. This will alter the layout of the item's window, and allow up to six items to be chosen for recycling. Recycling an item can add a small amount of points to its level gauge. The amount is determined by the rarity of the item and its own level, so higher-level items are more valuable to recycle than lower level ones.

Leveling

There are many ways to upgrade an item. The first method of leveling up an upgrade item to an item is to increase the amount of upgrade. This increases the upgrade value for a stat.
