WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade item boosts the level of an item by 3. A random additional substat is also added to every upgrade.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor.
